9th World Melioidosis Congress, 2019

The congress is co-organized by the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Institute of Hygiene, Microbiology and Environmental Medicine, Medical University of Graz, Austria. The organization of the congress is also strongly supported by many healthcare professionals from Vietnamese medical universities and hospitals administered directly by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health.

The venue for the congress is the Sheraton hotel located in the West lake of Hanoi, a historical capital with the richest traditions and cultural heritages in Vietnam. WMC is the biggest event held once every three years to bring together the international melioidosis research community from different parts of the world.
