On October 11, at Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province, Amkor Group successfully held the inauguration ceremony of Amkor Technology Vietnam Factory. This is also one of the largest semiconductor factories in Vietnam today with a total investment capital of 1.6 billion USD until 2035, total area of about 23 hectares.

Attending the factory inauguration ceremony were Members of CPV Central Committee: Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Anh Tuan, Bac Ninh Provincial Party Secretary. Mr. Marc Evans Knapper, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Vietnam; Ms. Susan Y. Kim, Vice President of Amkor Technology Group.
